  • Afternoon of blending your own whisky session with tasting and private tour

This is a fantastic interactive session which unlocks the mysteries of Scotch Whisky. Following a whisky tasting and viewing of the World’s Largest Collection of Scotch Whisky, under the guidance of a whisky expert, each guest creates their own unique blend in a 100ml bottle which can be taken home, along with their blending certificate.

The Kitchin Restaurant opened in 2006 by husband and wife team Tom & Michaela Kitchin on Edinburgh’s stylish waterfront in Leith. The Michelin Starred restaurant presents modern British seasonal cuisine influenced by French cooking techniques and an appreciation of the best quality ingredients available from Scotland’s fantastic natural larder.

One of Scotland’s finest castles will include a viewing of The Honours of Scotland, the Stone of Destiny, the Royal Palace, the Prisons of War exhibition, St Margaret’s Chapel, Mons Meg, the One o’clock Gun and more. Guests will be able to have their own private tour of the castle pre opening times and have lunch in one of the private suites inside the castle.

In a secluded corner of Scotland’s eastern highlands, on the shores of the Dornoch Firth, sits Skibo Castle, home to one of the world’s most prestigious private members clubs.

 

Within the 7,500 acres sits the handsome turreted castle with its 22 paneled bedrooms, and 11 lodges and cottages. Guests would stay in one of suites in the main house.

 

Day 3

An abundance of activities can be arranged, including golfing on the Donald Steel-designed course, swimming in the glass-roofed pool house overlooking the loch, massages in the spa, private whisky tours, mastering clay-pigeon or grouse shooting, riding over the estate, fishing, reading in the library, playing pool in the games room, or joining in the house party, which might involve singing songs round the Bechstein piano, dancing at Saturday night cèilidhs, or chatting over cocktails with fellow guests

DAY 4

  • Guests collected by Helicopter, flyover Loch Ness, West coast to the Isle of Skye

Guests to stay in a beautifully appointed junior bedroom suite which features a stunning sea view, which has direct access to the garden with its pathway to the seashore. During the day, house guests can use this lovely room to relax and unwind.

The Three Chimneys is a world-renowned Michelin starred Scottish restaurant.

It’s a fabulous experience to be in the kitchen, there is no partitioning, glass, or otherwise, just the organised clutter of pots, pans and culinary equipment. Guests are seated with a great view and will soon become immersed in the whole tableau of the kitchen, watching the chefs in action throughout the evening. Guests may be invited to participate in preparing or plating-up their own dishes and get to talk to the chefs.

Dunnie Munro

Donnie Munro is a Scottish musician, and former lead singer of the famous Scottish band Runrig , he now enjoys a successful solo career. His most recent album, Heart of America, recorded in collaboration with fellow Skye songwriters Blair Douglas and Richard Macintyre, won Album of the Year in the Scottish TradMusic Awards. He continues to work as the Director of Development at Sabhal MòrOstaig, Scotland’s National Centre for the Gaelic Language and Culture on Skye.

 

Day 5

Breakfast is served in the light and airy Morning Room at the Three Chimneys, with its stunning, panoramic views over Loch Dunvegan, the Minch and the peaks of Harris and North Uist. There’s a telescope for those who want to enjoy a closer look, or spot some of the magnificent Skye wildlife

 

  • Helicopter transfer to Perth taking the scenic route along the west coast and overFort William and Loch Lomond.
